Witnesses say heavily armed riot police used batons to disperse the students who are in their second day of protests in the capital, Harare.

The students say they want to launch an Indonesian-style campaign to end corruption and force President Mugabe to stand down.

Earlier in the year, at least six people died in violent food riots in Zimbabwe when prices rose by more than thirty percent.
