Pakistan save day
CRICKET: The first test between Pakistan and England at Lahore appears to be heading for a draw, after Pakistan avoided the follow-on. They finished the fourth day on 333-8, in reply to England's 480-8 declared. Pakistan were saved by an unbroken ninth-wicket stand of sixty between Saqlain Mushtaq and Yousuf Youhanna, who was seventy-seven not out at close of play.
