Celebrations in India as actor comes home
Rajkumar walked into a crowded press conference to enthusiastic applause. He arrived within an hour of touching down in Bangalore. He seemed visibly thinner as a result of his ordeal, but relieved and poised. He said the worst moment had come shortly after the successful escape of one of the men abducted with him. 'I really thought they were going to shoot me', he said; 'they tied my hands together and it was Veerappan himself who intervened and told them to stop'. The BBC's Jill McGivering reports.
