Suits you, Mr Depp
![]() Suits you, Sir: Johnny Depp in pouting mode
Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has recorded a long-awaited sketch for BBC comedy series The Fast Show.
Sleepy Hollow and Edward Scissorhands star Depp, 37, is a fan of the show, and worked with Mark Williams and Paul Whitehouse for its final episodes. He was given a part in the Suits You Sir sketch, which he slotted in while filming in the UK. Depp, dressed in jeans and shabby shirt, visits the tailors to buy a "traditional British suit". When Williams and Whitehouse realise he is American they start talking about US servicemen's sexual conquests in World War II. "I wasn't even born then," he tells them. Whitehouse says: "It's just an image I like to conjure up, now and then - the fine young American buck and the frail delicate English beauty entwined in a sexual ballet choreographed by the devil himself." Depp smiles as the pair begin their "Ooh, suits you sir" routine, and ask him: "Do you like a bit of smut, Sir?" He loses his temper and shouts: "Look, will you build me a f***ing suit?" But as they start to measure him up, he joins in with their catchphrase. The Last Fast Show Ever Volume One is being released on video by BBC Worldwide on Monday. The episodes are to be screened on BBC Two over Christmas.
