French divers to blow up dead whale
The authorities in France say navy divers are to use dynamite to blow up a dead whale which is posing a potential threat to small boats.
The whale carcass, which is about twenty metres long and five metres wide, is in the middle of shipping lanes in the Channel between northern France and England.
