Kostunica blasts Kosovo judiciary
The Yugoslav President, Vojislav Kostunica, has urged the United Nations-led administration in Kosovo to end what he described as drastic violations of law and justice in Kosovo. In a letter to the UN Secretary-General,Kofi Annan, Mr Kostunica called for a revision of all court rulings and indictments against non-Albanians in the province. He said all planned trials of non-Albanians should be postponed until adequate international judicial councils had been established. President Kostunica said the main problem was the extremely bad situation in Kosovo's judiciary system. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
