The Russian prime minister, Sergei Kiriyenko, has dismissed the president and the chairman of the country's last big oil company to be sold off.
Yesterday, the government dropped the price of the company, Rosneft, after no-one bid for the seventy-five-percent of the company on offer.
But earlier today a consortium of Russian and western companies expressed their interest in participating in a new tender for the company.
