| Members of the opposition in Peru have voted to dismiss the head of congress, Martha Hildebrandt, in what's being seen as a further blow to the president, Alberto Fujimori. The opposition accused Mrs Hildebrandt, who's known popularly in Peru as the 'Iron Lady', of blocking attempts to investigate the disgraced former intelligence chief, Vladimiro Montesinos.
