Police search Suharto's home for son

Indonesian police have searched the home of former President Suharto, in the latest move to find and arrest his son.

Tommy Suharto was declared a fugitive after failing to surrender to serve an eighteen-month jail sentence for corruption.

He has been in hiding for more than ten days.

Police said that they had been unable to find him despite a thorough search, which included the bedroom of the ailing former leader.

President Suharto is suffering high blood pressure, and it is feared he might suffer a fourth stroke.

Earlier this year, he was declared physically and mentally unfit to stand trial for alleged corruption.
