Railtrack profits slump
Railtrack has announced a fall in its six monthly profits for the first half of the year. The company's reporting pre-tax profits of 175 million - that's down thirty percent on the first half of last year. Railtrack will have to pay 250 million pounds to train operators in compensation for emergency closures on the network following the Hatfield train crash. The BBC's Tom Symonds reports:
