Climate conference tackles global warming
The UN conference on climate change in the Netherlands has been described as a "make or break opportunity" to implement agreements on reducing emissions of the greenhouse gases which cause global warming. Many scientists blame emissions of gases like carbon dioxide for triggering potentially catastrophic changes in the world's climate. The BBC's Margaret Gilmore reports:
