Two charged over babies' deaths

The pair are to appear Brighton Court

A man and a woman are due to appear in court accused of the murder of three babies and offences of neglect.

The 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are to go before magistrates at Brighton, Sussex, on Thursday.

The children, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, all lived in the Brighton area and were aged 18 months, five weeks and six weeks.

Their deaths occurred between 1994 and 1997.

The pair are also charged with neglecting those children and several others

They were arrested after a lengthy operation by Brighton police's Child Protection Team.
