Abandoned baby found
Police have found a new-born baby abandoned in the village of Shustoke, North Warwickshire.
The baby was discovered by a police officer in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Hospital staff who are treating the child joined police in urging the mother to come forward.
Nurses at Nuneaton's George Eliot Hospital named the baby Nicholas after the police officer who found him.
A police spokesman said the mother may need medical attention.
