Tokyo stocks ended weaker on Friday in reaction to the dollar's rise after Pakistan conducted nuclear tests and Japan released a series of poor economic indicators. An unexpected surge in April's unemployment figures to a record high of 4.1% took the market by surprise. Analysys said investors lacked reasons to actively buy shares and were also unwilling to move before the weekend and with the end of the month approaching. The key 225-share Nikkei average closed down 0.8%, or 125.77 points, at 15,670.78. Nikkei June futures were down 60 at 15,700.
