Foreign ministers from the member nations of NATO are meeting in Luxembourg today to discuss the continuing conflict in the Serbian province of Kosovo.
They are expected to approve a series of measures designed to prevent the fighting spreading to neighbouring Macedonia and Albania.
These include the provision of training and equipment for border guards in the two countries.
NATO military planners will also be asked to begin contingency planning for a variety of military options should the situation in Kosovo deteriorate rapidly.
