Students in Belgrade have continued their protests against a new law which tightens state control over universities.
Students have also urged teachers to suspend classes in protest over the law, but so far the professors have not heeded the strike call.
A BBC correspondent in Belgrade says the new law -- passed on Tuesday -- is the latest in a series of decisions by which the Yugoslav President, Slobodan Milosevic, has sought to keep a tight control over his country.
