International aid donors have pledged seven hundred and eighty million dollars worth of financial assistance for the Sri Lankan government this year.

The World Bank said the donors welcomed the government's efforts to implementeconomic reforms.

But donors also expressed concern about the prospects for an end to the conflict with Tamil Tiger guerrrillas.
