Prince Norodom Ranariddh makes a rare public appearance

The deposed Cambodian Co-Prime Minister, Prince Norodom Ranariddh, has made his first public appearance with party supporters in nearly two months.

The Prince opened a new headquarters for his Royalist Party in Kandal Province.

The former headquarters there was looted and closed after the Prince was ousted by his former coalition partner, Hun Sen, last July.

Addressing party workers, he denied his party was a spent force and said it would boycott the coming elections only if the United Nations decided it couldn't endorse them.
