European Union approves humanitarian aid for Bolivia

The European Union has approved two million-dollars-worth of humanitarian aid for Bolivia, where two-hundred-thousand families were hit by drought and an earthquake last week.

The money will be given to aid agencies over the next six months.

Aftershocks from the earthquake last Friday are still being reported, and many families are said to be staying in the open despite a shortage of tents and supplies.

Rescuers are continuing to search for many people missing.
