Conservative education spokeswoman quits
Angela Browning is to resign from the opposition frontbenches
The Conservatives' education spokeswoman, Angela Browning, is to give up her frontbench post.
The former junior Agriculture Minister has decided to return to the backbenches in order to spend more time with her son, who suffers from autism.
Mrs Browning's decision will create a vacancy to be filled in the next reshuffle of the Opposition frontbenches.
She has been MP for Tiverton and Honiton since 1992.
