Summons for Murdoch
An Indian court has issued a new summons demanding that the media magnate Rupert Murdoch personally answer charges that his Star television network has broadcast obscene films. The magistrate ordered the summons to be delivered by registered post and through an international courier agency. The court was told that Mr Murdoch had not responded to the original summons issued last year after accusations that films such as Big Bad Mama and Stripped to Kill could damage India's social fabric.
