India stands firm after EU nuclear warning
India has again said it will not bow to international pressure to sign nuclear non-proliferation accords. The Indian Foreign Ministry, in a statement responding to European Union criticism said policy would be determined by the national leadership in the country's interests; it would not accept suggestions that contained warnings or the suggestion of an ultimatum.
