Rugova travels to United States

TO FOLLOW KOSOVO The leader of Kosovo's ethnic Albanians, Ibrahim Rugova, is travelling to the United States on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the province.

He is expected to meet President Clinton and the Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright.

A spokesman for Mr Rugova Veton Surroi told the BBC that the aim of the visit was to raise awareness of the escalating conflict in Kosovo.
