Sudanese back in Kuwait

A Sudanese diplomat has begun working in Kuwait for the first time since the Gulf War.

The Sudanese foreign minister, Mustafa Osman Ismail, speaking at the end of a visit to Kuwait, said it was time to turn the page on the period of animosity.

He said Sudan wanted to normalise relations, broken becasuse of Sudan's support for Iraq, and it was up to Kuwait to decide the timing.
