Manipur police killed in separatist rebel attack

Police in India's northeastern state of Manipur say at least five members of the Central Reserve Police Force -- the CRPF -- have been killed in an attack by separatist rebels.

The rebels are said to have fired at a CRPF convoy in the southern district of Churachandpur.

Rebel groups in Manipur have killed more than fifteen soldiers and policemen this year.
