Tutut says former President Suharto is well
The eldest daughter of Indonesia's former President Suharto, commonly known as Tutut, has been speaking publically for the first time since her father's resignation last week and her own dismissal from the cabinet. She said her father was in good health and that all members of the family remained in the country. Tutut said she would dedicate herself to social work. Meanwhile, several relatives of the new President and other top officials are reported to have resigned their official positions. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
