Manhunt in Colombia for hundreds who escape in jailbreak

WAS COLOMBIA JAILBIRDS FLY The security forces in southern Colombia are searching for more than three hundred inmates who escaped during an attack on a prison by hundreds of left-wing rebels.

Police and army units joined the search around the town of Popayanfor the escapers, who include mass murderers, bank robbers and drugs-traffickers.

Officials say the raid on the San Isidoro jailwas carried out by members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia; it's believed to be the biggest prison escape in Colombian history.
