North Korea hands over soldiers' remains

North Korea has handed over the remains of two American soldiers killed during the Korean war.

The remains were supposed to have been handed over more than a week ago on the fifteenth of May, but North Korea temporarily suspended co-operation with the United States over what it called an "unreasonable demand" by the Americans, for United Nations involvement.

The US and North Korean governments have been working together to find soldiers' remains since April 1997.
