In pictures: Recycling in Pontypridd

Richard Ellis, 24, is a business studies student who lives in a shared house in Pontypridd, south east Wales.

His house typically recycles plastic and glass bottles, cans and paper, which are put in plastic bags and picked up every Thursday by Rhondda Cynon Taf council.

There is also a green waste collection, which they have not yet used.

Richard would like other things like food and clothes to be collected. He also wants more advice on what can and cannot be put in the bag.
