In pictures: Zimbabwe artists face the crisis

Chiweshe is thinking of doing an exhibition called "Aftershock – visions of Zimbabwe revisited".

"I am still shocked, even though I just went away for a few months, the country is down on its knees.

"It’s like a father whose children’s clothes are tattered and torn. Instead of buying new clothes, you rip the clothes off and leave the person naked. Then when the neighbour asks why, you say: 'I’m going to buy new clothes' – but you don’t have the money."
