Crews rescue seven from flat fire
Seven people had to be rescued from a block of flats in Stirling city centre after a fire broke out in an electricity supply unit.
Central Scotland Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene at Murray Place just after 0300 BST on Tuesday.
The fire was in a box in a shared close and was blocking the exit.
Four of the people rescued by firefighters were taken out through a window using a platform. No-one was injured in the blaze.
Three fire appliances remained at the scene for more than an hour, damping the area down to make it safe.
