Afghan 'stalemate' must be broken

The most senior British commander in Afghanistan, General Jim Dutton, has said there are now more Taliban militants in the most active areas than there were this time last year.

He said the US reinforcements, under the command of General Stanley McChrystal, must help break the "stalemate" in the south of the country.

Martin Patience reports from Kabul.
