Rice calls for Pakistan to cooperate

The US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has called on Pakistan to co-operate fully, transparently and as a matter of urgency, with investigations into the militant attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai.

Dr Rice was in Delhi as part of a US effort to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan.

She said Americans were well-placed to understand how people in India were feeling following the Mumbai attacks.
