Fourteen dead in Kashmir violence
At least 14 people, including eight suspected Islamic militants, have been killed and nine others wounded in a series of incidents in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Police said three militants were shot dead in a gun battle with Indian security forces near Poonch, south-west of Srinagar.

In a separate incident, nine soldiers were wounded when suspected militants fired grenades at a camp in Srinagar.
