Pakistan's 'Butcher of Bengal' dies
Pakistan's former army chief Tikka Khan - once known as the Butcher of Bengal for his actions against Bangladeshi separatists - has died after a long illness.
He was 87. Sheikh Mujib later became the first prime minister of an independent Bangladesh. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
