Discord over settlements persists


The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on her first trip to the Middle East, is meeting Israeli leaders in the hope of making some progress on peace talks.

While one of the main issues is Israel's building of settlements in the West Bank, the Israeli organisation 'Peace Now' has released a report suggesting Israel plans to build another 73,000 houses in occupied territory.
