Job losses for Manx finance firm

A financial consultancy firm has announced it will cut almost 80 jobs from its Ramsey operation.

Charterhouse Group International (CIC) has said staff reductions are necessary to safeguard the company's future.

The business has not stated which part of its operation will lose the staff but claims the day to day work will remain unaffected by the cuts.

Chairman David Dean said the jobs would go over the next three months and that it would comment again after Easter.
