Ideas sought to raise recycling

Islanders are being asked for their opinions and ideas about increasing recycling in Guernsey.

The Recycling Advisory Forum wants to involve younger people, but anyone interested must be free for meetings on the last Tuesday of every month.

The application form to join the meetings is available online at the States of Guernsey web site.

About 30% of islanders' waste is recycled, but Guernsey's Mont Cuet tip is still estimated to be full by 2019.
