More deaths as winter grips Europe

More than 90 people have died across Europe, 79 of them in Poland, as freezing weather conditions continue.

Many of those who have died in Poland were said to be homeless and the authorities are urging people to help out if they come across people in difficulty.

Snow and rain have also caused travel problems in Portugal and Italy in the last 24 hours.
