France's first lady urges HIV action


The French first lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, says it is "unfair" that women and children in the developing world often miss out on treatment for HIV.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC to mark World Aids Day, the French first lady called for greater efforts to eradicate mother-to-child HIV transmission by 2015.
