Danish biker gets life for grenade attack
A Danish court has sentenced a member of motorcycle gang to life imprisonment for killing two people and wounding nineteen in a grenade attack on a rival gang. The biker Niels Poulsen, from the Bandidos gang, was convicted of firing the missile into a compound where members of the Hell's Angels were having a party. The attack, in 1996, was the bloodiest in a three-year gang war which ended last year with a truce. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
