At least 40 people have been killed and six injured in a lorry collision in southern Turkey, officials say.
A lorry carrying passengers crashed into a stationary lorry on a road near the southern town of Osmaniye.
Osmaniye governor Zubeyir Kemelek said many of the dead may have been Afghan and Bangladeshi nationals. The driver was also among the dead.
TV pictures showed bodies strewn across the asphalt, apparently ejected from the back of the first lorry.
"The impact was very violent," Mr Kemelek told the Turkish NTV channel. "We have not been able to pull the truck driver out of the wreckage yet."
Local TV reports said the lorry was carrying illegal immigrants.
Correspondents say Turkey is a major transit point for migrants attempting to enter Europe illegally.
