US pandas arrive in Chengdu, China by FedEx

Two young giant pandas born in the US have arrived in Chengdu in China.

Tai Shan and Mei Lan will become part of a breeding program for endangered species.

The pandas will initially be quarantined respectively for 30 days at the Panda Conservation and Research Centre in Chengdu and the Bifeng Base of the Nature Protection District in Ya'an.
