US holiday shopping seasons with 'Black Friday'


The US holiday shopping season is officially underway, with "Black Friday" traditionally marking the day when retailers turned profits, going into the black for the whole year.

With consumer spending accounting for two thirds of all economic activity in the US, this year is even more important.

Michelle Fleury reports from New York.
