A magnitude 6 earthquake has struck north-east Nevada in the US.
The quake hit 15km (10 miles) south-east of the town of Wells at 0616 (1416 GMT), according to the US Geological Survey.
It was centred in a sparsely populated area near the Nevada-Utah border, and reports say it was felt as far away as southern California.
A local official told the Associated Press news agency that there were reports of damage to buildings.
A local hotel employee told the AP that the earthquake was "pretty bad".
"Everything in our whole building shook, we have cracks in our walls," Jane Kelso said.
