In a sombre start to the Tour Championship in Houston, a lone bagpiper marching through the fog played "Going Home" as players gathered on the first tee of the Champions Golf Club to remember Payne Stewart.

Play was delayed by a day to allow a service in his memory.

"When he died on Monday, a big part of us died, too," said Tom Lehman, who offered a prayer after the brief service.

Federal investigators have now found the plane's voice recorder, but say it may not shed light on why the plane crashed.
