Pirates continue to hold hostages

An American captain held by pirates on a lifeboat off Somalia has been freed and four French people held captive for a week on their yacht have returned home safely.

As one hostage stand-off ended, an Italian tugboat with 16 crew was seized on Saturday.

Pirates operate in Somali waters and still hold as many as 200 other hostages.

Alix Kroeger reports.
