Pensioner takes on Atacama Crossing desert race

A pensioner is taking on one of the most gruelling endurance races in the world - the Atacama Crossing in South America.

Laurie Brophy, 78, from Bridgend will trek 150 miles across the driest desert on earth in searing heat

He's one of the world's oldest desert marathon runners and has already completed endurance races in the Gobi and Sahara. Carwyn Jones reports.
