Jewish child evacuee remembers last train out

Renate Collins was on the last train of Jewish evacuees to leave Germany and the Czech Republic for the UK.

At the age of five she was put on a train by her mother and sent away to live with a foster family in Porth, Rhondda.

She remembers thinking of the trip as a holiday, unaware at the time that 60 members of her family were dying in German concentration camps.
