Firefighters are tackling a blaze of around 300 tonnes of wooden pallets in a yard at an industrial estate. Crews are tackling the fire at the Blackvein Industrial Estate in Cross Keys, near Newport, after being called at 0258 BST. About 26 firefighters from Risca, Abercarn, Cefn Fforest, Cwmbran and Caerphilly fire stations are at the scene. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service says nobody has been injured. It said it expected firefighters to be at the scene "for some time".
